These Terms govern accounts and services on www.reateknives.com and direct consumer purchases from REATE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED, operating under the Reate Knives brand ("Reate", "we", "us" or "our"). They explain who sells the goods, how orders and delivery work, and your cancellation and other rights. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer protections.

1 Seller and contact details

Seller: REATE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED.

Business registration address: Flat/Rm 2212, 22/F, CC Wu Building, 302-308 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.

Hong Kong Business Registration Certificate No.: 70746383-000-05-26-8.

Orders, cancellations, complaints and privacy enquiries: operation@reateknives.com.

Customer service email: operation@reateknives.com.

US dispatch and returns warehouse: Attn: Lance Chrisler, 6060 Dawson Blvd., Suite D, Norcross, GA 30093, United States.

The US warehouse is a fulfilment location. REATE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED remains the seller responsible for direct orders. Our authorised personnel handle operations on its behalf. Purchases from independent retailers are governed by the contract with the relevant retailer, without affecting any applicable manufacturer warranty.

2 Eligibility and destination restrictions

Our purchasing services are intended for customers aged 18 or over who also meet any higher local age requirement and all other applicable eligibility conditions. You must provide accurate information and be authorised to use the payment method selected.

Availability depends on the specific model and destination. Knife laws distinguish between sale, importation, possession, transport and public carry. A product description or the availability of a payment method does not establish that a particular transaction or use is lawful.

We may request proportionate age or eligibility verification and decline transactions that cannot lawfully be completed. Do not use false details or forwarding arrangements to evade restrictions. We remain responsible for obligations that the law places on us; these Terms do not transfer them to you.

Product-specific restrictions must be disclosed before purchase. Descriptions such as "everyday carry" or "collectible" are not permission to carry a knife in a public place or import it into a restricted destination.

3 Accounts and registration

Provide accurate registration details and keep relevant contact information up to date. Keep your credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. Liability for unauthorised use depends on applicable law and the circumstances; you are not automatically liable for every use of your account.

Do not impersonate another person, commit fraud, interfere with the website or access information without authorisation. We may restrict an account where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, security threat or legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and provide a contact route for review.

You may request account closure by email. Closure or suspension does not remove outstanding refund, warranty or other statutory rights. Records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy. Accepting these Terms is not consent to optional marketing or tracking.

Login duration and Remember Me

The website uses HI_BUGU_user, HI_BUGU_login and HI_BUGU_identity to associate your browser with your user and login identity. Under the default login setting, these cookies are deleted and invalidated when you sign out. If you select "Remember me", their expiry is reset to 30 days from each visit. They expire after 30 days without a further visit. Under the current configuration, explicitly signing out does not immediately invalidate the retained Remember Me identifiers. Repeated visits may therefore extend their retention beyond 30 days in total.

Use Remember Me only on a device you control. Closing the browser is not necessarily a logout. If you want to remove locally stored login information, clear the website's cookies or site data in your browser. Signing out alone does not revoke retained Remember Me identifiers. Clearing local data does not itself confirm that server-side credentials have been revoked. Contact operation@reateknives.com if you need remembered access revoked or suspect unauthorised access. This does not transfer our responsibility to provide appropriate account security to you.

The browsing identifier HI_BUGU_Token and language preference HI_BUGU_Lang have no scheduled automatic deletion under the current configuration and are separate from the login cookies. Signing out does not mean that all website cookies are removed. See the Privacy Policy for details and browser controls.

Cookie deletion or expiry does not cancel an order, close your account or erase records that we retain for the purposes explained in the Privacy Policy. Remember Me does not authorise optional marketing or unrelated tracking.

4 Product information and safe handling

We aim to describe products accurately, including materials, dimensions and relevant mechanisms. Screen settings and natural material variation may affect appearance, but do not excuse a material difference from the agreed description or a non-conforming product.

Knives have sharp edges and require careful handling, secure storage and lawful transport. Follow all product instructions and warnings and keep knives away from children. Check the lock and mechanism before use and stop using a product that appears damaged or unsafe.

Product-specific safety information and restrictions supplement these Terms. Any material correction to an order description must be addressed before acceptance or in accordance with your rights under applicable law.

5 Prices and PayPal payments

The currency, item price, delivery charges and taxes we collect will be identified before you commit to an order. Where import duties, taxes or clearance charges are payable separately, we will explain the arrangement and who is responsible before purchase, including how additional charges are calculated where they cannot reasonably be fixed in advance.

We accept payments through our company PayPal Business account where shown for the transaction and permitted for the product and destination. Payments must be made as genuine purchases of goods using the approved payment instructions. We do not ask customers to describe a purchase as a gift or a personal friends-and-family transfer.

We begin preparing an order after confirming payment and any required checks. Whether payment is authorised or captured at that point will be disclosed in the payment process. Payment alone is not acceptance of the order. The seller remains the company identified in section 1.

If there is a material price or description error before acceptance, we will explain it and offer the corrected order for your agreement or cancel and refund any amount received. We will not charge a higher price without your agreement. Payment-provider procedures do not replace your statutory rights against us.

6 Order acceptance

Before submitting an order, you must be able to review the goods, delivery details and charges and correct errors. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt only. We accept an order when we send a dispatch confirmation identifying the accepted goods. For separate shipments, each confirmation identifies the goods accepted at that time.

Before acceptance, we may decline an order for a legitimate reason such as unavailable stock, payment failure, suspected fraud, a legal restriction or an unresolved material error. We will inform you and promptly refund amounts received for declined goods and charges no longer payable. Cancellation after acceptance is governed by applicable law.

We will provide confirmation of the contract and relevant terms in a form you can retain, such as email. Bespoke wholesale or OEM transactions require separately agreed terms where appropriate.

7 Warehouse dispatch and delivery

Orders are prepared and packed at our US warehouse: Attn: Lance Chrisler, 6060 Dawson Blvd., Suite D, Norcross, GA 30093, United States. Delivery is performed by the carrier or shipping agent identified for the shipment. Any different dispatch origin will be disclosed before purchase.

Available destinations, processing time, estimated delivery time, carrier options and shipping charges will be provided before the order is placed. A pre-order or delayed-release item must have its expected dispatch arrangements clearly stated. We will notify you of material delays and offer any cancellation or refund option required by law.

Age-restricted deliveries may require an adult signature or appropriate identity check. Where restrictions apply, unattended delivery, lockers or unsuitable addresses will not be available.

For consumer purchases, risk of loss or damage generally remains with us until you or your nominated recipient takes physical possession, subject to any lawful exception where you independently appoint a carrier not offered by us. Contact us about missing or damaged goods; prompt reporting assists investigation but does not eliminate statutory rights.

8 Customs and restricted shipments

Shipping from the United States does not establish that a knife can lawfully be imported elsewhere. We may request information needed for lawful customs clearance and will not misdescribe goods or declare inaccurate values to evade restrictions or duties.

If customs delays, refuses or returns a shipment, contact operation@reateknives.com. The appropriate remedy and allocation of costs depend on the cause, the information provided before purchase and applicable law. Customs refusal does not automatically forfeit your payment or excuse our own failure to comply with legal obligations.

9 Cancellation and return requests

Email operation@reateknives.com with your order reference and request. For a statutory cancellation, a clear statement is sufficient; our approval or a return authorisation number is not a condition of exercising that right.

The standard returns address is: Attn: Lance Chrisler, 6060 Dawson Blvd., Suite D, Norcross, GA 30093, United States. This is a US return address, so international return costs may apply. Secure the blade and package goods safely. Contact us for lawful shipping instructions if a carrier or destination restricts the return shipment. Instructions do not extend or reduce statutory deadlines unless the law permits.

The Hong Kong business address is for company correspondence and is not the standard goods-return location. For warranty inspection, contact support before sending goods so the appropriate handling instructions can be provided.

10 EEA and UK consumer withdrawal

Where applicable distance-selling law gives you a right of withdrawal, you may cancel an eligible purchase without giving a reason within 14 days after you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. For qualifying orders delivered in separate items or parts, the period runs from receipt of the last item or part. Any longer period or extension required by applicable law remains available.

Notify us before the withdrawal period expires, then send the goods back within 14 days after giving notice. You bear direct return costs only where this has been properly disclosed before purchase and the law permits. Where goods cannot normally be returned by post, we will provide the legally required estimate of return costs before purchase. Different rules apply to faulty, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

We reimburse eligible payments, including our least expensive standard outbound delivery charge, within 14 days after receiving your cancellation notice. Where permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until we receive the goods or evidence of dispatch back to us, whichever occurs first. Refunds normally use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, without a refund fee.

You may inspect goods as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. A deduction for diminished value may apply only as permitted by law for handling beyond that level. Missing original packaging alone does not automatically remove a statutory withdrawal right.

Legal exceptions, including goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised, apply only where legally justified and will be explained before purchase. Limited editions, sale prices or opening a box do not by themselves remove the withdrawal right.

11 Other returns and defective goods

Outside statutory withdrawal rights, any additional change-of-mind return right must be stated in the applicable offer or separately agreed with you. These Terms do not promise a universal voluntary return period or reduce rights that local law grants.

Goods must meet applicable legal standards of quality, description, fitness and safety. Contact Warranty@reateknives.com if goods are defective, incorrect or non-conforming. We may reasonably request purchase information, a description, photographs or an inspection to assess the problem.

Available remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, according to applicable law. We bear the costs the law requires us to bear. Normal wear, misuse or modification may affect a claim where it caused the problem, but does not automatically remove unrelated rights.

Any voluntary manufacturer warranty is additional to statutory rights and applies only according to its disclosed terms. These Terms do not create an unspecified lifetime warranty or replace legal guarantees, including the applicable EU minimum legal guarantee for new goods.

12 Reviews and intellectual property

Website materials and trademarks belong to us or the relevant rights holders. You may use the website for legitimate shopping and information purposes and as otherwise permitted by law. Other reproduction or commercial use requires appropriate permission.

You retain ownership of reviews or images you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to display, format and reproduce them as reasonably needed to publish your submission on the website. Do not submit unlawful material, misleading content or another person's private information without a lawful basis.

We may moderate for relevance, authenticity, privacy and legality. A negative opinion alone is not a reason to remove an otherwise legitimate review. Account closure and privacy requests are handled under applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

13 Privacy and responsibility

Our Privacy Policy explains the processing of customer information. Independent payment, carrier and linked-platform services may also have their own terms. This does not exclude obligations we owe you.

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud and, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence. We remain responsible for losses and remedies imposed by applicable consumer law. No "as is" statement overrides mandatory rights.

14 Complaints and applicable law

Send complaints to operation@reateknives.com, explaining the order, issue and requested resolution. We will investigate and respond without undue delay. Contacting us does not prevent you from exercising available payment-dispute, regulatory or court remedies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. If you are a consumer, that choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections that otherwise apply in your country of habitual residence. It does not restrict your right to use courts available under applicable consumer law. These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration or a waiver of collective remedies.

15 Updates

We may update these Terms for future orders and services. An accepted order remains subject to the version in force when it was placed unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. Material changes affecting an ongoing account service will be notified appropriately. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Model withdrawal form

Use of this form is optional. Send it to operation@reateknives.com or REATE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED, Flat/Rm 2212, 22/F, CC Wu Building, 302-308 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. Goods returns go to the US warehouse stated in section 9.
